Frida Kahlo Book Design

Frida Kahlo was a Mexican artist who painted many portraits, self-portraits, and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico. She employed a naïve folk art style to explore questions of identity, post-colonialism, gender, class, and race in Mexican society and lived most her life in la casa azul, or Blue House, which today is the Frida Kahlo Museum.

Inspired by Frida's life story and a visit to her home a few years ago, this is an illustrated and designed book outlining her life's events.
